Summer Break Special: Animation Fun and Adventure

Using paper, cardboard, pencils, paint, scissors, modeling clay, and all your creativity in a small group, you’ll create your very own animated film! In this workshop, you’ll learn how to design and construct characters and how to move and bring them to life. No prior experience is necessary, just a little patience and a lively imagination: This will be turned into little scenes—in funny, adventurous, exciting, mysterious worlds—only you decide what’s possible and what isn’t!

Jan Caspers came to animated film via puppetry, silhouettes and a robot theater and has been leading stop-motion workshops for C/O Berlin Education for over ten years.

Gary Rosborough has been working as an animation teacher for twenty-five years. He has inspired countless children, young people and adults on four continents with the expressive possibilities of animated film.
