C/O Berlin Talent Award 2024. Together we would like to bring Black and Queer Feminism to the fore one day after the International Feminist Struggle Day.
In an exciting guided tour through the Schöneberg district, you will learn about Germany's global connections with the African and American continents from the perspective of important women. In order to understand intersectional feminism, we will immerse ourselves in the exciting biographies of activists such as May Ayim, Audre Lorde and Ika Hügel-Marshall. They were Afro-German visionaries who had a lasting influence on the human rights movement in Germany.
After the tour, participants will receive a coupon for reduced admission to the exhibitions for 6 euros.
