Stretch Your Creative Muscles!

Feeling a little stiff in your photography practice? Need a push to try something new? Let’s stretch our creative muscles together in this two-day workshop!

Whether you're a beginner or advanced, together we'll explore new ways of photographing and seeing, and we’ll experiment with creative approaches to storytelling. Through group critique we’ll analyze composition and we’ll also seek inspiration by examining the work of a variety of photographers. At the end of the workshop, students will be energized and inspired to expand their photographic vision.

For inspiration, we’ll visit the current exhibitions of Graciela Iturbide, Dörte Eißfeldt and Sheung Yiu at C/O Berlin.

Anja Hitzenberger is a photographer, educator, and consultant based in New York City and Vienna, and the founder of StrudelmediaLive, an educational platform that offers live online photography classes, talks, scholarships, and more to people around the world. Her work has been exhibited in solo and group shows, film festivals, and on theater stages throughout Europe, the United States, South America, and Asia. She has received numerous grants and has completed residencies in Rom, Paris, Warsaw, Beijing and Tainan. Anja graduated from the International Center of Photography (ICP) in New York, and has been on the faculty there since 2009.
