Träum Weiter: TRESOR x C/O Berlin

On the occasion of the exhibition Träum Weiter — Berlin, die 90er, TRESOR and C/O Berlin invite you to a special night that celebrates the spirit and energy of the 90s. A slide show with 120 selected photographs by OSTKREUZ photographers from the exhibition will be shown throughout the night in the lounge area at Globus. An additional open-air exhibition at the Megafence and around the TRESOR will allow visitors to visually immerse themselves in the decade. The images capture the atmosphere and unique character of Berlin in the 90s and create a visual connection to the music that characterised this era. With a legendary line-up – Clé & Eva Be, DJ T-1000 aka Alan Oldham, Josh Wink, Miss Djax, Sven von Thülen and Tanith – we bring back the raw and unmistakable sound of the 90s. TRESOR, founded in 1991 in post-reunification Berlin, is an icon of electronic music and a symbol of Berlin's cultural reunification. Originally housed in a former vault of a department store on Leipziger Straße, the club played a key role in shaping the development of techno in Germany and worldwide. Its minimalist, industrial rooms became a stage for legendary artists such as Jeff Mills, Sven Väth and Juan Atkins and provided a platform for the fusion of Detroit techno and European electronic music. The club was forced to close in 2005, but found a new home in 2007 at the Kraftwerk Berlin in Köpenicker Straße, an imposing industrial monument. TRESOR remained true to its origins and continued to develop into an international meeting place for the electronic music scene.
