Please only visit us if you are feeling well. In order to protect you and our staff, we are following comprehensive health and safety measures in accordance with the current guidelines issued by the state of Berlin to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus. The measures detailed here are requirements that must be followed when visiting us. Please also note the pandemic-related rules regarding social distancing, hygiene, and masks.

Face Coverings
You are required to wear a medical face mask completely covering your mouth and nose throughout the duration of your visit. Children under the age of 6 are exempt from this requirement. Individuals with valid proof of exemption from wearing a mouth and nose covering should contact a member of staff, who will provide you with a face visor in order to protect the other visitors to our exhibitions.

Timed Tickets
We can only allow a limited number of visitors in our exhibitions at any one time. We recommend buying a timed ticket available to reserve online. If you are entitled to free admission, reserve the complimentary ticket online, showing valid proof when entering. Please note that your reserved time slot cannot be extended in the event of late arrival.

Opening Hours
Our exhibitions are open every day from 11:00–20:00. Click here for detailed information on opening hours, travel connections, and pricing.

We’re Here for You
Our staff receive health and safety training. For your own protection, please follow their instructions. Toilets, door handles, and high-touch surfaces are cleaned and sanitized frequently throughout the day.

Tours and Group Reservations
Public Guided Tours take place every Saturday and Sunday at 2 pm. For Individual Public Guided Tours are possible again, too. For information and booking please click here.

Please avoid bringing bags larger than 25cm × 35cm × 10cm. Remember to bring a €1 coin or token to avoid needing to change money at our cash desks.

Social Distancing
Please maintain a distance of at least 1.5 meters from other visitors and from our staff. If you find that there are too many people in one room, proceed to the other exhibition areas. Our staff will be happy to help you as you visit the exhibitions.

C/O Berlin Bookshop
Our bookshop is currently only accessible to visitors to our exhibitions, and your time there is part of your reserved time slot. Four visitors at a time will be allowed to browse our books and catalogues. Please sanitize your hands before you enter and spend as little time as possible in our shop. Please keep an eye on the duration of your time slot and plan your visit to the shop within this period. We ask for your understanding if you need to wait to enter our shop or if entry is not possible. A wide selection of books and other merchandise is also available via our Online Shop. We would appreciate payment by card wherever possible.

C/O Berlin × Barkin’Kitchen Café
During our opening hours, our café is also open indoors and outdoors, and there is also a take-away offer. Payment for food and drinks is preferably cashless. Please help us prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.
Take care and see you soon!
